Lately, I’ve been waking up more tired than rested. With school prep, kids’ schedules, and the everyday hustle of mom life, some things that used to give me energy, like walking, have quietly slipped to the back burner.
But here’s the thing: my body noticed. I’ve felt sluggish, guilty, and a little frustrated that I haven’t been making time for myself.
This morning, though, something shifted. I put on my gym clothes, walked my daughter to the bus stop, and stood there debating with myself. Should I just head back home? Do I really have it in me today?
Something in me whispered, just keep walking.
I told myself I’d aim for 30 minutes. Instead, I ended up walking for 45. And you know what? My body thanked me. My energy lifted, my mood lightened, and that sluggish heaviness began to fade.
It wasn’t glamorous. I didn’t feel like it. But I did it anyway.
And that’s the lesson I’m carrying forward:
When I don’t feel like doing the very thing I know I need, whether it’s moving, hydrating, pausing for gratitude, that’s the moment I most need to show up. Even if it’s slow, messy, or grumbling on the inside… just do it.
Because the reward is always greater than the resistance.
✨ This week, I’m celebrating this small win. A walk that felt like balance in the middle of burnout. A reminder that consistency beats perfection.
And maybe you need that reminder too:
Your reset doesn’t have to be big, beautiful, or Insta-worthy. Sometimes, it’s as simple as showing up tired but still moving forward.
“What’s one small win you can celebrate this week? Share it with me, I’d love to cheer you on.”
“If you’re ready to start your own mini reset, download my free 7-Day Reset Journal here.”

I’d love to hear about your wins this week—big or small. And if you feel like you don’t have any yet, remember this: simply getting out of bed, feeding yourself, and making it through the day counts as a win too.
I’d love to know your wins, big or small. And if today just felt like survival mode, that still counts. You showed up, and that’s worth celebrating.
Big or small, I want to hear your wins this week! Getting out of bed, taking a deep breath, finishing laundry, or sneaking a nap, making it to drop off or missing the bus, yet still driving kids to school, or even just brushing your teeth – every step counts. Celebrate it all, because showing up today is a victory!
